Content Strategy for SyncSketch Platform

The Client

SyncSketch is a real-time collaboration platform, built by artists for artists. Accessible through a browser, the tool enhances the visual feedback process for studios, clients, agencies, and students by delivering a creative review environment without limitations. SyncSketch’s cloud-based platform empowers creators to communicate visually in real-time on any type of media – even 3D models. No more notes and sketches scattered across multiple tools and platforms.

SyncSketch was acquired by Unity Technologies in November 2021.

The Brief

SyncSketch was looking for a marketing agency that understood their audience and could become an extension of their team. Grammatik was tasked with the planning and implementation of an effective content strategy that would put its “built by artists for artists” ethos into practice.

We worked closely with the team at SyncSketch to build an agile, multi-channel strategy that highlighted the key features of the tool and set it apart from competitors, while also accounting for the dynamic growth period the business had been navigating.

The Strategy

Engaging with the Community

In an effort to engage with the creator community, the Grammatik team launched the guest writer series which focussed on amplifying the voice of other animators and sharing first-hand experience of using SyncSketch, as well as their expertise in animation. Simultaneously, we pitched and drafted bylines authored by SyncSketch’s leadership team, targeting the trending topics and pain points within the industry.

Case Studies

One of the cornerstones of our content strategy was to build up a content library of case studies that would serve as social proof for the various use cases of the platform and then further utilized for sales enablement. Working closely with the team at SyncSketch, Grammatik identified ideal candidates for case studies from Syncsketch’s client base, conducted interviews, and created the copy.

Social Media & Newsletter

Leveraging the native content created for the website, Grammatik devised a cross-platform social media strategy with a specific focus on the B2B section of the creative community that lives on LinkedIn.

We designed the monthly newsletters with the current user base in mind; we interspersed more technical product feature pieces with blogs, case studies, event highlights, and more.
